Yes, Pain Plus accepts Medicare and all PPO plans as an out-of-network provider. We continue to pursue contracting opportunities with other insurance plans. Marijuana Certification is not covered by insurance at this time.

Dr. Kowalski is fellowship trained in the specialty of Hospice and Palliative Medicine. He is dedicate to providing the most comprehensive, up-to-date, and compassionate symptom relief with an emphasis on pain management.
What is palliative medicine?
Palliative medicine removes the suffering that comes along with chronic illness and improves quality of life.
Is palliative medicine only for people who are dying and is it the same as hospice?
No. Palliative Medicine is for any person at any age with any major or serious illness and it should begin with the diagnosis of the illness. Hospice is a patient elected portion of Palliative Medicine for those in the last 6 months of life.
How do I know what treatment is right for me?
The day of your consultation, you will be given the opportunity to detail your concerns, medical history, and symptoms. Dr. Kowalski will use that information and then can discuss treatment options with you. Not all treatment modalities are right for every patient.
